Patricia Kelley experienced every rung of the ladder in her education career. She taught speech, writing, and theatre arts and served as a media specialist before she became a school administrator and retired as a district superintendent of schools. An award-winning poet, she now teaches all ages about the art of writing, the art of public speaking, and the art of giving an outstanding book signing. She has co-directed writers’ conferences and retreats and enjoys mentoring young writers. She describes herself as “a writer helping writers.” Poetry from the Desert Floor, is a collection of photographs and poems reflecting Patricia’s love of the southwest desert and the people, places, and things that inhabit it. Her first novel, The Last Confession, launches the Father and Wife Series featuring Maggie Callahan and her surprising love interest as they solve intricate mysteries and pursue justice.
